When St. Louis sports are doing well, a visitor to our city can expect some fans in jerseys, a car flag or two, and some restaurants beconing in gameday customers. In Chicago, however, the whole city joins in.

The Chicago Blackhawks have just won the Stanley Cup, and all of Chicago has been their support.

Chicago radio stations spent the day urging the public to wear their red and black, and some of the most popular places in the city, from Tiffany and Co. to Dick’s Last Resort donned the Blackhawk colors.

Probably the funniest and most prominent display of Chicago’s support for their team comes from The Art Institute of Chicago. The Institute put a new twist on their iconic lion statues, giving each a giant Blackhawk helmet.
