Struggling volleyball team recovers against Chaminade, prepares for Oakville

Following a disappointing loss to Mehlville last week, the Lancers responded in dominating fashion against Chaminade on April 11. Led by senior Paul McGhee, who finished with a team-high seven kills, they won the first game 25-9 and the second 25-13.

“We worked on team chemistry a lot and I think that’s going to show,” McGhee said, “I don’t keep track of kills, just the outcome.”

Although the team is now just 3-5-1, the win should provide some momentum going into a big match against an undefeated Oakville (11-0) team on April 14. That match will take place at Oakville and is scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
