For senior Zack Frazer, the fourth time was the charm. After three previous tries, he managed to make a five point jump to the perfect ACT score of 36.

“I didn’t really think I could do that,” he said. “It was just some crazy thing, I think.”

Frazer and his family are ecstatic about his test results, and directly relate the surprise to his lack of preparation.

“I didn’t take that many practice tests or anything,” he said. “I didn’t really study at all.”

Frazer’s college plans have yet to be solidified, but he’s hoping to hear back from Northwestern and Washington University soon.

He admits that his score severely reduces the usual nerves regarding college decisions.

“It’s taking a lot of the stress off. I’m very much so enjoying that,” Frazer said.

He plans to study business in school next fall, to pursue interests in marketing and advertising.
